Info:

Komiza is a picturesque town on the western side of the island of Vis, the furthest of the main central Dalmatian islands from the coast. The islands long, intriguing history has always been entwined with fishing, traces of this tradition can today be found in the Fisherman’s museum in the Venetian tower in Komiza’s port. It should come as no surprise that Komiza has some incredible fish restaurants, but also serves autochthone island wine sort vugava. There are many adventures to be had around Vis but should one find themselves with some time on their hands while in Komiza we recommend a boat trip out to the nearby Bisevo island and a visit to the Blue Cave.
