Azamara Club Cruises’ entire fleet sailed into Croatian ports on the Adriatic Coast yesterday. Leading regional destination management company, Adriatic DMC, delivered shore excursions in all four destinations.
The Miami-based cruise line’s four ships: Journey, Onward, Pursuit, and Quest docked in the Adriatic ports of Pula, Opatija, Rovinj, and Zadar respectively.
Adriatic DMC managing director, Srdjan Kristic remarked on a record-breaking day for the company: “Azamara’s immersive itineraries truly showcase the best a destination has to offer so they need a DMC that can provide authentic and engaging experiences that highlight the special people, places and rich traditions in a destination.
“Cruising along the Adriatic, their passengers will experience Croatia’s world-renowned cuisine, get to learn about its fascinating modern and ancient history, and soak up some of the most breath-taking panoramas the world has to offer.”
A team of operations professionals from Adriatic DMC delivered the ground operations in Pula, Rovinj, Opatija, and Zadar.
Passengers enjoyed either sailing along Zadar Archipelago on a boat trip that visits two islands, exploring the island of Pag, famed for its lace-making and award-winning cheese, or visiting the impressive Nin Salt Plains and Royal Vineyards with incredible sea views.
In Istria, passengers indulged in the region’s famous truffles on a tour that introduces them to the hunting process as well as takes them to the hilltop chocolate box town of Motovun. For passengers looking for an active excursion, cycling the Parenzana trail delighted with its picturesque views.
Azamara Club Cruises vessels will be visiting Croatian Adriatic ports as part of the following g travel programs: 7 and 8-Night Croatia Intensive Voyage, 12-Night Adriatic Wonders Voyage, 10-Night Amalfi & Dalmatian Coasts, and 9-Night Aegean to Adriatic Voyage.
