A 6 hour shore excursion on the Brac island. This shore tour includes panoramic drive from Supetar, moderate hiking, a guided visit to Blaca Hermitage and a lunch in local village home.
Once famous Glagolitic desert from 16th century, later an astronomical observatory, Blaca is situated on the eastern slope of the valley, between Bol and Milna on the southern part of the island of Brac. Blaca is a unique monument on the Croatian coast; it was a hermitage of Glagolitic Order, ancient Croatian alphabet. Aside of its historical importance the monastery is set in a stunning setting, well worth the effort needed to get to it.
