Adriatic DMC Partakes in "Feel Slovenia, Experience Croatia"

Dubrovnik, Croatia October 4, 2016 – Adriatic DMC, the Balkan region travel specialist, recently took part in the “Sell Croatia” business workshop that was held at the Midtown Congress Center in Tokyo, Japan on 21 September 2016. Organized jointly by the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Slovenian Tourist Organization with the goal of furthering destinations awareness on the Japan market, the workshop was attended by 80 Japanese travel agents and local media. Croatian tourism companies Adriatic DMC, Adriatic Travel & Trade, Gulliver Travel, Katarina Line and Uniline were present as well as Dubrovnik Neretva County, Zagreb Tourism and Lika Senj County tourist boards.

 

The ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Japan, Mr. Drazen Hrastic, and the ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Japan, Ms. Simona Leskovar, opened the event with keynote speeches and extended a warm welcome to all attendees. Keynote speeches were followed by destination presentations, introducing both overall destination and new tourism products. The event culminated with pre-scheduled business-to-business meetings, in which Adriatic DMC participated with the goal of furthering current, and making new business connections on the Japan market. 

 

Participants were very interested in new tourism products on the Balkan market, further establishing strong interest in the region.
