Adriatic DMC attended the annual Zlatna Kuna Awards at the Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel on Tuesday 4 December. The awards, organized by the Croatian Chamber of Economy's Dubrovnik-Neretva County office, recognize the most successful businesses and entrepreneurs in the area.
As a finalist in the small-sized enterprise category, Adriatic DMC was judged to be one of the top three small businesses in the county in 2017 based on its financial indicators and employment statistics.
Marketing and project manager, Kim Butigan collected the finalist plaque from Zupa Dubrovacka Council Chief Executive, Silvio Nardelli.
Speaking of the nomination, managing director, Srdjan Kristic said: “The Zlatna Kuna is Croatia's most prestigious business prize so to be a finalist just four years since our founding is an honor and testament to the hard work put in by our entire team.
“2017 was a fantastic year for Adriatic DMC that saw us build on our foundation of quality travel programs as well as forming new partnerships and creating exciting new travel products. This year too has been a successful one, so who knows, maybe next December we will be nominated again."
The Zlatna Kuna awards judge each nominated business using an eight-point criterion that includes: liquidity, debt, activity, profitability, employment, income analysis, business strength, intangible and tangible assets.
