Adriatic DMC Awarded Travelife Partner Status

Leading regional destination management company (DMC) Adriatic DMC has been awarded the Travelife Partner Certificate by the Croatian Association of Travel Agencies for its commitment to sustainable development.

Travelife is the leading initiative for training, management, and certification of tourism companies dedicated to corporate social responsibility. The certificate is awarded to travel agencies and tour operators whose business operations are determined to meet the high standards of the Travelife system via a rigorous audit.

Adriatic DMC Operations Director, Ivan Gavranic, said: “Receiving this award is recognition of our hard work and commitment to being a responsible tourism operator in Croatia and the Balkans. We are delighted to achieve Travelife Partner status and will be working towards the Travelife Certified award.”

Covering a total of 10 areas, the audit process assesses office operations, legal compliance, ecological standards, care for the preservation of culture, traditions and the environment in the local community, collaboration with partner agencies and other stakeholders, and communication and education of clients.
