Adriatic DMC Attends 5th Annual MICE India and Luxury Travel Congress

Adriatic DMC, a leading destination management company specializing in travel to the Balkan region, attended the 5^th Annual MICE India and Luxury Travel Congress, held in Mumbai from July 27-28 this year. Among business meetings, keynotes and networking opportunities for DMC’s, tourism boards and corporate partners, the congress focused on discussions around current and emerging MICE and luxury industry trends. 

“India’s outbound travel market is growing rapidly, and it is important for us to not only keep up with the trends but gain more insight and develop meaningful partner relationships here,” said Srdjan Kristic, Managing Director at Adriatic DMC. “This was our first time attending MILT and the interest for Croatia and this whole region was very encouraging. We had an opportunity to present our MICE offer in Croatia during the congress, and were very satisfied with the turnout.”

Kristic attended MILT as a part of Adriatic DMC’s overall strategy for developing partner relationships in India, and comes on the tail of the company signing India’s Namaste Tourism to represent its interests on the Indian market. Earlier in the year, Adriatic DMC also attended the 2016 India Travel Outbound Roadshow; India's only multi destination roadshow that was held in New Delhi, Ahmedabad and Mumbai from March 17-22.
